In his extensive career, John has advised major real estate clients and landed estates on matters such as placement structure, captives, major losses and risk management strategy.

Previous experience Marsh, Arch, Platinum and Higos (Brown and Brown). A qualified accountant, and holding an MBA and insurance qualifications, Gavin is responsible for the oversight of the financial and regulatory reporting of Realty and for providing insights into performance of the business.  Gavin has served as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer for a number of regulated insurance entities in the Irish, UK and Bermuda insurance markets, with a focus on real estate and commercial risks.  Gavin joined the Realty team in December 2023 and is a member of the Realty Board.

Previous experience Megan started her career with Endsleigh Insurance specialising in personal lines insurance. In 2008 she moved to Brownhill Insurance Group when her role developed into specialising in insurance solutions for high-net-worth individuals.   Megan joined the Realty team in September 2022.

Previous experience Arlington, RSA (Intact), Cadogan Insurance Services, and Sun Alliance. A Real Estate and Multi Risks underwriter in her earlier career, Nikki worked with national brokers and landed estate business. In 2011, Nikki joined a start-up West End real estate insurance broker, contributing to the growth of the business, and served on the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2021. Nikki joined the Realty team in December 2021 and leads the Commercial team, providing operational oversight and leadership to ensure the consistent delivery of client service excellence.

Previous experience Thomas Carroll Group, Thomas and Thomas Solicitors. Specialising in Legal Indemnity and Rights of Light Insurance, with a strong foundation in law, including a law degree and CILEX qualification. Sarah transitioned into the insurance world gaining Chartered Insurance Broker status. Joining Realty in 2025, Sarah is passionate about helping clients navigate complex risks with clarity and confidence, combining her legal background with deep industry knowledge, delivering solutions that truly make a difference.

Previous experience Aon, Howden Insurance, and NFU Mutual, At NFU Sara most recently served as Head of Estates, supporting the growth of the national agency network. Sara has advised on and managed insurance arrangements for some of the largest, most complex, and high-profile estates in the country. Sara joined the Realty team in 2026, enhancing and strengthening our capability and leadership in this niche market.

Previous experience Initially at NFU Mutual, Matt joined Realty in 2012 and has worked in both commercial client service and private client teams. Realty appointed Matt as an Associate Director and leader of its private clients’ business in 2022. Matt earned the Chartered Institute of Insurance Certificate in 2018.

Previous experience Marsh, Heath Lambert, Willis. At Willis, Mark managed service delivery for a variety of large commercial real estate clients. Between 2018 and 2021, Mark was seconded to the Real Estate Division of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, living in the UAE.
